We Casa Barcelona is located in the Borne neighbourhood. It is one of the oldest areas of the city and one of the four neighbourhoods in the Ciutat Vella district (together with the neighbourhoods of el Gótico, el Raval and la Barceloneta). The neighbourhood not only displays much of Barcelona's history, but has also been able to preserve the bohemian air created by artists who lived and worked there throughout the 20th century. Currently, the very trendy area has many bars, restaurants and shops, as well as lots of culture and nightlife.
Being well connected with public transport, visitors will find it easy to reach almost all the most important touring destinations in the city. Just a 5-minute walk away is the nearest metro station, the 'Urquinaona' stop (Lines 1 and 4). Also in the same street, Via Laietana, bus number V15 goes to the beach area. Other nearby stations are the 'Arc de Triomf' stop (Line 1 and Renfe) and the 'Catalunya' stop (Line 1, 3, 6 and 7, FGC and RENFE), the 'Estación del Nord' and the 'Estación de Francia'.
